Verb Conjugation for "mejorar"

Infinitive: mejorar

To form the gerund,
remove the infinitive ending (-ar, -er, or -ir) of a verb and add -ando for -ar verbs, and -iendo for -er and -ir verbs:
     comer (eat) - comiendo (eating)

*There are exceptions.

If the verb stem ends with in a vowel, you must change the ending -iendo to -yendo:
     Ex) leer - leiendo this is wrong. - leyendo
